About the 2019 summit
The Innovative Housing Summit is a dynamic forum organized by the MicroLife Institute and hosted this year by AARP Georgia. The Summit will bring together visionaries, policymakers and professionals as well as subject matter experts from various industry sectors to explore innovative housing trends and solutions as a response to growing demand for more environmentally-friendly, missing middle housing in the Southeast and Atlanta.

This year at the Innovative Housing Summit we will focus on three topics:
Deregulation for Innovation will focus on how we can change policy and zoning to allow a more progressive take on housing products.
Accessory Dwelling Units and how they can play a huge housing role in the aging population and others in our nation.
Building Pocket Neighborhoods will focus on different methods to approach building a pocket neighborhood in your community and lessons learned from previous projects.
After the morning conference concludes, attendees will board buses and travel down to Fayetteville, Georgia and enjoy a tour of the Pinewood Forest micro neighborhood along with meeting the builder and architect.
