Clarkston- Demonstration Tiny Cottage Court (First Tiny Pocket Neighborhood in Atlanta)

This tiny house cottage court on Vaughn Street will be the first of its kind in Clarkston, GA. Situated on a half-acre, the development will include 8 tiny homes ranging from 250-492 SF oriented around a common green. It is centrally located one block from downtown Clarkston and community hub Refuge Coffee and is also in walking distance from the local park Friendship Forest. The development has easy access to the Path Foundation trail that connect Clarkston to Decatur, the City of Atlanta, and Stone Mountain. This development will be a demonstration site and we will be transparent with the process, budget, and total cost of development and construction. The homes will be sold at market driven affordable rates and will serve as a “proof of concept” to private developers interested but hesitant to enter the tiny home and pocket neighborhood market. After construction, we will have monthly tours available to the public and encourage other municipalities and developers to visit and learn from this great case study.
