Simple Life- Weekend of Exploration- Flat Rock, NC.

This past weekend MicroLife Institute and Tiny House Atlanta had the pleasure of visiting Simple Life in Flat Rock, North Carolina. We were able to take a tour of this amazing facility that has over 150 park models and space for your towable Tiny House to live in year-round. There are several amenities as well as included services when you lease your piece of land. From the clubhouse to great neighbors, we were completely enthralled how Simple Life has built this community. Check out our video below.

Simple Life has several communities as well as some upcoming developments. Each one The Meadows is more for the tiny house, wheel based homes where as up above in the Village there are more the park models. So many different types of people live here and are engaged in this community.

I would definitely suggest you book a tour with our friend Jacqui and tell them Will sent you because Simple Life understands what micro living is all about! MicroLife mantra is less space more life and Simple Life is on board!

But now more importantly- I had the best time staying in the tiny house! The Dogwood was so easy to stay in and it could have slept 4 if I was nice enough to allow someone to come with me on my getaway...but i didn’t. :) Everything you need is so close. There is a grocery store literally 7 min away. Of all the times I have stayed in tiny houses, this was the first I got to shop, stay and cook in! It was so relaxing and down right perfect. I spiced up my stay with chicken tacos the first night, hash for breakfast and of course more tacos for dinner the second night. (See pics below)

Simple Life’s location makes your life simple. There are wineries and outdoor activity at you fingertips. I decided to visit a winery (or two) and then popped into downtown Asheville for a show and came across some tiny house inspiration on the building next to my event. This whole area is truly micro friendly :).
