Black-Owned Shipping Container Marketplace

What Now Atlanta: Atlanta BeltLine To Get Six Black-Owned Businesses, All Housed in Shipping Containers Along The Trail

Have you strolled the BeltLine here in Atlanta lately? You might see some cool new features right under the Freedom Parkway Bridge. The BeltLine Marketplace is an exciting new addition to this popular walkway developed with the help of MicroLife Board Member Tony Pope and his team at Atelier7. This collection of expertly repurposed shipping containers houses six Black-owned small businesses, ranging from food to commerce. Part of an incubator program to support small businesses, the Marketplace gives entrepreneurs a leg up as they launch their products and brands by giving them an affordable and space-efficient space to operate. We love seeing new developments like this utilize existing space so well to create better offerings for all. We can't wait to check out all of these great local businesses right in our backyard!
